Board of Directors

Al Archer, President
In addition to serving as Vice President of the New Life Board, Al currently serves as a member of the Lafourche Parish School Board.  He previously headed up the PASS program for students in the parish who have been removed from school due to suspension or expulsion.  Al is a member of Sacred Heart, where he works with the youth group.

Marlene Williams, Vice President
Marlene serves as Secretary on the New Life Board.  As a retired school teacher, Marlene is affiliated with the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association.  She attends Community Bible Church where she is a member of the choir.

Donna Estay, Secretary /  Treasurer

Kathie Martin, Board Member
In addition to serving as the President of the New Life Board, Kathie is employed by Nextel as a Sales Manager of the Cut Off branch.  She attends Community Bible Church.  In addition, she is a member of the South Lafourche Women’s Club

Staff:

 Kristyn S. Carver, Ph.D., LPC, LMFT  – Director

Dr. Carver earned her Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling, Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling, and Master of Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.   In addition, Dr. Carver earned a Bachelor of Science in Education fromLouisianaStateUniversity.

Dr. Carver is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist, Christian Association for Psychological Studies, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Dr. Carver currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Counseling at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
